We're here at Comic-Con and have been having a great time. Vegas met Keith Knight and got a picture taken, and Malin met Connie Willis, an author he's enjoyed since writing a paper on her story "The Last of the Winnebagoes" in college. We talked about how she kills animals in her stories, and Malin gave her a copy of New Fables to look at. She was a real pleasure to meet even in the rushed, scripted setting of a book signing.

Sofawolf has been doing well, with John Cooner and Blotch keeping us company at the table, and occasional visits from Husky and his posse. The show is as crazy as always and we've sold out of a couple products, but we still have a bunch of stuff at table G10. If you haven't visited us yet, tell a friend or come on by yourself!

What has 200,000 legs and flies?

Answer: San Diego Comic-Con on Preview Night.

(The flies come in from the San Diego Bay.)

Preview Night is bigger every year. The crowds last night were as big as on any regular day. The good news is that every day of the con is sold out, so they aren't likely to get any larger, at least.

Sofawolf did pretty well on Preview Night, and we're sitting at the table anticipating another great day now that the con has "officially" started. If you're in the area, come see us at booth G10!
